New Year, New Projects
I am now working with some other mediums that I can recycle. It is not just fabrics any more and to tell you the truth it hasn't been for a while. I have been developing these recycled books into journals and planners. They are really cute and should be up on Etsy within a few days. This new line of recycled books is called Judge a Book By Its Cover. I take old books cut the bindings off and use the covers to form new useful journals out of.

Creating Before Baby
I have been busy the past few days getting ready for our next baby and that includes getting ready for next market season. We will be selling in the Salem Saturday Market from May through October as well as some other markets through out the summer. It will be more challenging to create a stock of inventory after the baby arrives, so I am trying to get a good stock to sell at the markets before then. As usual we will be selling recycled, reversible bags, coffee cup cozys, quilts, lavender flax pillows and pens. I am working on a a few new designs for things like clothing, hip pouches, scarves and belts, all made from recycled/upcycled fabrics. I think this season will be one of the best and I am giving a preview of most of my work on Etsy.

Getting Yarn Crazy
My mom got me started on buying really nice yarns to knit and crochet with...now I am hooked! I have been going a little crazy finding/buying amazing blends of fiber. I found everything from wool to silk and everything in between. I am currently crocheting a red and black scarf for myself made from silk and bamboo...ohhhh it feels like butter! I have made socks, scarves, gloves, hats, granny squares and much more but never anything for myself...so this scarf is finally for me.
Once I put some finishing personal touches on this scarf I will post a picture.
